MINUTES CITY OF CLEARLAKE CITY COUNCIL & REDEVELOPMENT SUCCESSOR AGENCY SPECIAL MEETING NOVEMBER 20, 2019 CALL TO ORDER SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING: 2:03 P.M. Roll Call. Present: Russ Cremer, Mayor Dirk Slooten, Vice Mayor, Present Via Noticed Teleconference: Golden Tulip Strasbourg, Strasbourg 6700 France Russ Perdock, Councilmember Phil Harris, Councilmember Joyce Overton, Councilmember Staff: Alan Flora, City Manager Andrew White, Chief of Police Tina Viramontes, Deputy City Clerk Consent Items Recommended Action 1. Approval of a Contract for Copy Machines for Approve contract with Caltronics Business the Police Department and City Administration Systems and authorize the City Manager to sign 2. Award of Construction Contract of the Senior Authorize City Manager to enter into Center Portable Restroom Improvement contract with RO Construction for the Project Senior Portable Restroom Project Chief White pulled Item #1 from the Consent Calendar and asked for a slight increase in the cost of Item #1. ACTION: It was moved by Councilmember Overton and seconded by Councilmember Perdock to approve Item #1 as amended. The motion passed with a unanimous roll call vote. ACTION: It was moved by Councilmember Overton and seconded by Councilmember Perdock to approve the remaining Consent Calendar item as presented. The motion passed with a unanimous roll call vote. BUSINESS: 3. Discussion and Possible Action Related to County Tax Sales City Manager Flora gave the staff report. CCMin 11-20-19 Spl Page 1 of 2 ACTION: It was moved by Councilmember Overton and seconded by Councilmember Harris to approve the submittal of various letters to local and state agencies requesting assistance, investigation and/or other actions to facilitate the sale of tax defaulted properties within the City of Clearlake. The motion passed with a unanimous roll call vote.
