MINUTES CITY OF CLEARLAKE CITY COUNCIL & REDEVELOPMENT SUCCESSOR AGENCY SPECIAL MEETING NOVEMBER 9, 2020 The virtual meeting was held via Zoom in accordance with Governor Newsom’s Executive Order N- 25-20 and Executive Order N-29-20. CALL TO ORDER SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING: 11:00 A.M. Roll Call. Present: Russ Cremer, Mayor Dirk Slooten, Vice Mayor Phil Harris, Councilmember Joyce Overton, Councilmember Absent: Russ Perdock, Councilmember Staff: Alan Flora, City Manager Andrew White, Chief of Police Melissa Swanson, Administrative Services Director/City Clerk BUSINESS: 1. Consideration of Purchasing Mobile and Portable Radios for the Police Department; Resolution No. 2020-58 Chief White gave the staff report. ACTION: It was moved by Vice Mayor Slooten and seconded by Councilmember Harris to adopt Resolution No. 2020-58, A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLEARLAKE AUTHORIZING THE CHIEF OF POLICE TO PURCHASE RADIOS FROM COMMAND COMMUNICATIONS FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT. The motion passed with a roll call vote of 4- 0-1, with Councilmember Perdock absent. 2. Consideration of the Sale of City-Owned Property Located at 15886 18th Avenue; Resolution No. 2020-59 City Manager Flora gave the staff report. ACTION: It was moved by Councilmember Harris and seconded by Councilmember Overton to adopt Resolution No. 2020-59, A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CLEARLAKE CCMin 11-09-20 Spl Page 1 of 2 AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF CITY OWNED PROPERTY. The motion passed with a roll call vote of 4- 0-1, with Councilmember Perdock absent.
