Weakley stated that there is 7.6 acres of tall grass that is north of the current cemetery that
needs mowed. Ussery asked about having it cut and baled. Weakley stated that would make
the roots more permanent as winter approaches. Ussery will ask city administrator Zollinger
about mowing that section of land if public works have the equipment to do so. Erwin and
Ussery discussed having it mowed once in the fall and then deciding later about what should
happen in the Spring.
Erwin asked Weakley if there was anything else Weakley needed to discuss. Weakley would like
a space heater for the cemetery shop. The other one was stolen last year and never replaced.
Erwin told Weakley to make sure there was a proper container for the kerosene.
