Beer Board

CITY OF CLEVELAND BEER BOARD MINUTES February 9, 2016 BE IT REMEMBERED THAT the City of Cleveland Beer Board held their monthly meeting on February 9, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at the Cleveland Municipal Building. Present and presiding was Joe Kirkpatrick. Also present were board members Ellie St. Pierre, Donald Humes and Sherry Bryant. Mark Smith and Bill Hobbs were absent from the meeting. Others in attendance according to the sign-in sheet were Christy Bryant, Beer Board Secretary, Teresa Evans and Nikita Patel with Island Oasis #2, Marcelino Hernandez with Restaurante Y Carniceria Jalisco and City Attorney John Kimball. Ellie St. Pierre moved to accept the minutes of the regular session held on November 10, 2015, and the minutes of the regular sessions not held on December 8, 2015 and January 12, 2016 and approved them as written. The motion was seconded by Sherry Bryant; and upon roll call, unanimously passed. Upon review of the applications and survey’s Donald Humes moved to approve the following permits under the consent agenda: • Nikita Patel will be operating Island Oasis #2 located at 540 Inman Street NW. • Marcelino Hernandez (MEC, Inc.) will be operating Restaurante Y Carniceria Jalisco located at 66 & 68 Mouse Creek Rd. The motion was seconded by Sherry Bryant; and upon roll call, unanimously passed. Chairman Kirkpatrick stated Bill Hobbs has resigned from the Beer Board due to health reasons. Ms. Bryant will check with the alternates about board member status and make a recommendation to the City Council for approval. There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
