MINUTES REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY OF CLEVELAND’S BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS & BOARD OF FLOODPLAIN REVIEW TUESDAY, MARCH 12, 2019 AT 12:00 PM CLEVELAND MUNICIPAL BUILDING 190 CHURCH STREET NE The regular meeting of the Board of Zoning Appeals was called to order by Dan Moore, Vice Chairman, at 12:00 P.M. Members present included Clint Taylor, Dan Moore, Ray Garner and Ed Brown. Members absent included Charlotte Peak. Legal Counsel present included John Kimball, Attorney for the City of Cleveland. Staff present included Corey Divel, Senior Planner and Darla Jenkins, Executive Secretary I. Others present included Rob Cuthbertson. The minutes of the October 9, 2018 regular meeting were presented for approval. Clint Taylor made a motion to approve the regular meeting minutes and Ray Garner seconded the motion. The minutes of the October 23, 2018 special called meeting were presented for approval. Clint Taylor made a motion to approve the special called meeting minutes and Ray Garner seconded the motion. The minutes of the September 25, 2018 special called meeting were presented for approval. Clint Taylor made a motion to approve the special called meeting minutes and Ray Garner seconded the motion A vote of 4-0 passed the three motions for approval. There were no Public Hearings. There was no Old Business. In New Business, a. Request by Theresa Evans for variance approval for property located at 640 West Inman St (Tax Map 49N Group D Parcel 11.00). This item was removed per Corey Divel. b. Request by Theresa Evans for a building elevation variance for property in the floodplain located at 640 West Inman St (Tax Map 49N Group D Parcel 11.00) (pg1). Corey Divel present the staff report. Clint Taylor made a motion to approve the request and Ray Garner seconded the motion. A vote of 4-0 passed the item. c. Request for conditional use by Donald Ledford and Ella Sue Ledford for an assisted living facility on property located Stuart Rd (Tax Map 42 Parcel 15.05). Property is zoned IL Light Industrial zoning district (pg8). Corey Divel presented the staff report. Rob Cuthbertson stated he would be building an assisted living facility on the property if approved. Clint Taylor made a motion to approve the request and Ray Garner seconded the motion. A vote of 4-0 passed the motion. There was no Staff Report. There was no Board Member Report. The meeting was adjourned at 12:05 P.M.
