MINUTES REGULAR MEETING OF THE CITY OF CLEVELAND BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 10, 2019 AT 12:00 PM CLEVELAND MUNICIPAL BUILDING 190 CHURCH STREET NE The regular meeting of the Board of Zoning Appeals was called to order by Charlotte Peak, Chairman, at 12:00 noon. Members present included Charlotte Peak, Clint Taylor, Dan Moore, Ray Garner and Ed Brown. There were no members absent. Legal Counsel present included John Kimball, Attorney for the City of Cleveland. Staff present included Corey Divel, Senior Planner, and Darla Jenkins, Executive Secretary. Others present included Makalah Rakestraw, Ben Berry of Berry Engineers, Don Jacobson and Pam Greer of Cleveland Aluminum. The minutes of the August 13, 2019 meeting were presented for approval. Dan Moore made a motion to approve the minutes and Clint Taylor seconded the motion. A vote of 5-0 passed the motion. There were no Public Hearings. There was no Old Business. In New Business, a. Request by Don Jacobson for a variance for property located at 165 Powell St SE (Tax Map 58A Group T Parcel 17.02). Property is zoned R2 Low Density Single and Multi-family Residential Zoning District (pg1). Clint Taylor made a motion to approve and Dan Moore seconded the motion. Voting 5-0, the Board members passed the motion. b. Request by Michael Williamson for a variance for property located at 30 25th St NW (Tax Map 50A Group N Parcel 12.00). Property is located in the CH Commercial Highway Zoning District (pg6).  Clint Taylor made a motion to approve and Dan Moore seconded the motion. Voting 5-0, the Board members passed the motion. c. Request by David C. Simpson for conditional use approval of a medical office facility located at 2020 Westland Dr SW (Tax Map 57 Parcel 17.00). Property is located in the IL Light Industrial Zoning District (pg11). Clint Taylor made a motion to approve and Ray Garner seconded the motion. The motion passed with a vote of 5-0. There was no Staff Report. There was no Board Member Report. The meeting adjourned at 12:02 P.M.
