MINUTES CLEVELAND MUNICIPAL PLANNING COMMISSION TUESDAY, JANUARY 15, 2019 AT 6:00 PM CLEVELAND MUNICIPAL BUILDING 190 CHURCH STREET NE The regular meeting of the Cleveland Municipal Planning Commission was called to order by Dee Burris, Chairman, at 6:00 P.M. Members present included Larry Presswood, Bill Hamilton, Tricia Pennington, Walt Vineyard, David May, Jr., and Dee Burris. Members absent included Gary Dennis, Maryl Elliott and Clarke Taylor. Legal Counsel present included John Kimball, Attorney for the City of Cleveland. Staff present included Corey Divel, Senior Planner, Darla Jenkins, Executive Secretary, and Jonathan Jobe, Director of Development and Engineering Services. Others present included Joe Edwards. The minutes of the regular meeting of November 20, 2018 were presented for approval. David May, Jr. made a motion to approve and Tricia Pennington seconded the motion. A vote of 6-0 passed the motion. The minutes of the called meeting of December 18, 2018 were presented for approval. David May, Jr. made a motion to approve and Walt Vineyard seconded the motion. A vote of 6-0 passed the motion. There were no Public Hearings. There was no Consent Agenda. There was no Old Business. In New Business, a. Request by Tim Posey for final plat approval of The Commons at The Grove, lot 3. Property is located on Commons Ln NW and is zoned PUD12 Planned Unit Development Zoning District (pg1).  David May, Jr. made a motion to approve and Tricia Pennington seconded the motion. A vote of 6-0 passed the item A. b. Request by Nathan Ridgeway, Linda Watson and Ann Duncan for abandonment of a portion of right-of-way between 16th St NE and 18th St NE and parallel to Church St NE and North Ocoee St (pg3). This item was pulled. The planning commission had moved to abandoned this location in 2008. c. Consideration of an ordinance to recognize PUD13 as established in ordinance 2017-08 as PUD21 (pg7). There was no Chairman’s Report In the Director’s Report, Corey Divel stated forms from the Tennessee Bureau of Ethics and Campaign Finance “Statement of Interests” were handed out to the members of the planning commission as a reminder to complete the form online before January 16, 2019. The meeting adjourned at 6:06 P.M.
