MINUTES SPECIAL CALLED MEETING CLEVELAND MUNICIPAL PLANNING COMMISSION TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 24, 2019 AT 12:00PM CLEVELAND MUNICIPAL BUILDING 190 CHURCH STREET NE The special called meeting of the Cleveland Municipal Planning Commission was called to order by Vice Chairman, Clarke Taylor, at 12:00 Noon. Members present included Clarke Taylor, Bill Estes, Maryl Elliott, Ben Berry, Jamie Creekmore, and Blake Allison. Members absent included Tricia Pennington, Larry Presswood, and Alma Dotson. Staff present included Corey Divel, Senior Planner, Darla Jenkins, Executive Secretary, Joe Fivas, City Manager, Tonya Young, Engineering Technician, and Jonathan Jobe, Director of Development and Engineering Services. Others present included Jon Gallant, Stefan Robichaux and Ramsey Knowles of D&G Development Group and Duane Goff. There were no minutes at the special called meeting. There were no Public Hearings. There were no items on the Consent Agenda. There was no Old Business. In New Business, a. Request by Duane Goff for preliminary plat approval of Goff Central Street Townhome located on Central St. Property comprises Tax Map 41N Group L Parcels 13 and contains approximately .3 acres. The property Is zoned R3 High Density Residential Zoning District (pg1). Bill Estes made a motion to approve subject to staff comments and Ben Berry seconded the motion. A vote of 6-0 passed the motion. Yes-6 No-0 Absent-3 b. Request by 640 PHP for final plat approval of Paul Huff Corners Subdivision located on Paul Huff Parkway. This property comprises Tax Map 34I Group B Parcel 10.00 and contains approximately 6.2 acres. The property is zoned PUD 15 Planned Unit Development District Zoning District (pg4).  Bill Estes made a motion to approve subject to staff comments. Jamie Creekmore seconded the motion. A vote of 5-0 passed the motion. Clarke Taylor recused himself. Yes-5 No-0 Recused-1 Absent-3 c. Discussion of a called work session meeting. The planning commission discussed a time to have a work session. They decided to have a work session at 5:00 P.M. before the regular planning commission meetings. The next regular meeting is Tuesday, October 15, 2019 at 6:00 P.M. The work session will be held before the regular meeting at 5:00 P.M. There was no Chairman’s Report. There was no Director’s Report. The meeting adjourned at 12:13 P.M.
