4800 West Copans Road City of Coconut Creek Coconut Creek, FL 33063 Meeting Agenda - Final Public Meeting Tuesday, June 15, 2021 6:00 PM Coconut Creek Government Center - Commission Chambers CDBG and HOME FY2021 Pre-development Public Hearing The City of Coconut Creek is an entitlement recipient of federal funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. The City is also a participant in the Broward County Home Investment Partnership Program (HOME) Consortium. Coconut Creek will receive $263,769 in CDBG funds and $105,087 in HOME funds during the 2021 program year to address community development and housing needs within the City. The City is hereby giving notice that it intends to use the above referenced funding for Purchase Assistance projects. Prior to formally selecting the activity, the City will hold a public hearing in order to obtain citizens’ views and determine needs and local priorities for the use of the funds. This hearing will be held on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at 6:00 pm at the Coconut Creek Government Center, Commission Chambers, 4800 West Copans Road, Coconut Creek, Florida 33063. Interested parties are encouraged to attend and participate. Any and all interested parties may appear in person and speak at the meeting or public comments may be provided in advance of the meeting up until 6:00 p.m. on Monday, June 14, 2021, by voicemail or email. Public comments received prior to the meeting will be read or played at the meeting.
