BOARD OF MANAGERS MEETING
March 9, 2018 – 8:30 A.M.
Common Council Chambers
The meeting was called to order at 8:31 A.M.

Jim Bouchard, Treasurer
Kenneth Radliff, Commissioner OGS
ABSENT:

Chris Briggs made a MOTION to approve the minutes of the February 23, 2018 meeting. Jim Bouchard
seconded the motion. All members voted “AYE”. The motion passed.
Kenneth Radliff made a MOTION to enter into a contract with Chazen for Remsen Street Phase II Design
& Construction Phase Services. Funds are covered from grants. Chris Briggs seconded the motion. All
members voted “AYE”. The motion passed.
Kenneth Radliff made a MOTION to enter into a contract with Chazen for the Canal Square Park Project.
50% covered by GIGP Grant from Environmental Facilities Corporation. Michael Durocher seconded the
motion. All members voted “AYE”. The motion passed.
Jim Bouchard made a MOTION to approve a proposal from ProShred for 4 – 96 gallon security
containers at $80.00 a month. Chris Briggs seconded the motion. All members voted “AYE”. The
motion passed.
Jim Bouchard made a MOTION to award Water Filtration Plant Chemicals to the following as
recommend by Mike Duffy, Chief Operator Filtration Plant:
Shannon Chemical Corporation:
Sodium Permanganate (55 gallon drum) - $7.17/gallon
Sodium Permanganate (15 gallon drum) - $7.44/gallon
Orthophosphate (30 gallon drum) - $6.77/gallon
Surpass Chemical Company, Inc.:
Caustic Soda (bulk) $2.653/gallon
Chlorine (15 gallon drum) $.997/gallon
Slack:
Chlorine (bulk) $.849/gallon
Holland Company:
Liquid Aluminum Sulfate $.848/gallon
Kenneth Radliff seconded the motion. All members voted “AYE”. The motion passed.

Michael Durocher made a MOTION approve an MOU to accept a Grant for $3,000 from Capital Coexist
Traffic Safety Ambassador Mini Grant program. The City match is in-kind through staff and volunteer
hours.
At 8:40 AM, with no further business to come before the board, Michael Durocher made a motion to
adjourn, seconded by Jim Bouchard.
