MONTHLY MEETING OF THE COHOES CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION COHOES COMMON COUNCIL CHAMBERS MINUTES February 22, 2024 Present: Rose Vohs, Chairperson Sandy Bonkoski, Commissioner (via phone) Kimberly Cardona, Commissioner Reghan Phillips, Secretary to the Commission Meeting called to order by Rose Vohs seconded by Kimberly Cardona at 5:04 p.m. REVIEW OF MINUTES – Monthly Meeting on 1/11/24 Rose Vohs made the motion to approve the minutes as published. Kimberly Cardona seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously. Review of 2023 Annual Report for submission to NYS Civil Service Rose Vohs made the motion to approve the minutes as published. Kimberly Cardona seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously. Proposed Revision – Senior Code Enforcement Officer – Changing minimum qualifications to two (2) years of experience involving the enforcement of rules and building codes. Kimberly Cardona made the motion to approve the minutes as published. Rose Vohs seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously. Upcoming Exams Custodian to be held on March 23, 2024 Police Sergeant to be held on June 1, 2024 NEW BUSINESS  Fire Department hiring new Firefighters. Motion to adjourn made by Rose Vohs. Seconded by Kimberly Cardona. The meeting adjourned at 5:36p.m. Next monthly meeting scheduled for 5:00 p.m. on March 21, 2024. Commissioners will be notified pending quorum call.
