MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE COHOES BOARD OF ETHICS, HELD ON MONDAY, JANUARY 27, 2020 IN THE COMMON COUNCIL CHAMBERS OF CITY HALL Members Present: Charles Valenti, Chairperson Deborah Gilchrist, Member David Emanatian, Member Member Excused: Erin Roditis, Alternate Member The meeting came to order at 5:42 p.m. Items Considered: 1. The minutes of the December 30, 2019 meeting of the Board were approved by a unanimous vote. 2. Charles Valenti was elected Chairperson by a unanimous vote. 3. The 2019 Annual Report of the Board was approved by a unanimous vote 4. Complaint No. 20-1 and Complaint No. 20-2 were tabled until the next meeting of the Board. It was noted that the Complainant was invited to the meeting by the Board but did not attend the meeting. 5. Ethics Training was discussed. The Chairperson is in the process of arranging a training session for City employees with a representative of the New York State Conference of Mayors who will conduct the training. The date of the next meeting will be decided in the near future. The meeting was adjourned at 6:02 p.m.
