MINUTES OF THE COHOES PLANNING BOARD MEETING HELD ON SEPTEMBER 8, 2014 AT 6:30 P.M. IN THE COMMON COUNCIL CHAMBERS OF CITY HALL MEMBERS PRESENT: Mr. Edward Carboni Ms. Sharon Gariepy Mr. Mark DeFruscio Mr. Chris Briggs ABSENT: Chairman Joseph Moloughney Vice-Chairman Clarence Badgley ALSO PRESENT: Melissa Cherubino, Director of Building and Planning CONSIDERATION OF THE MINUTES FROM THE AUGUST 11th, 2014 MEETING Member Carboni moved to approve the minutes. Member Gariepy seconded the motion which passed unanimously. YES NO Joseph Moloughney ABSENT Leo Badgley ABSENT Edward Carboni X Chris Briggs X Sharon Gariepy X Mark DeFruscio X CONSIDERATION OF A POOL AT 259 VLIET BLVD Daniele Bridger proposed installing a 15’ above ground pool in her backyard. The width of her property would not accommodate setbacks. Therefore although one side property line setback is met the pool is 4’ from the opposite side property line. Even so drainage would not impact neighbors according to the applicant. As a result, Member DeFruscio moved to approve the special use permit. Member Carboni seconded the motion which passed unanimously.
