BOARD OF REVIEW
May 20, 2024
4:00 PM
The 2024 Board of Review was called to order at 4:00 PM by James W Schmidt. On roll call:
Connie Gurtner, James W Schmidt, Collin Stuttgen and Jason Lindeman.
Assessor Greg Schmidt is doing a full re-evaluation of the city this year and the assessment roll
is not compete at this time. Motion was made by Gurtner, seconded by Lindeman to adjourn the
Board of Review until September 5, 2024. Motion carried with a voice vote.

The City of Colby Board of Review will meet on the 20th day of May, 2024 at 4:00 PM in the
Council Chambers of City Hall, 211 W Spence Street, Colby, WI for the purpose of calling the
City of Colby Board of Review into session during the 45 day period beginning on the 4th
Monday of April, pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes §70.47(1).
Due to the fact the Assessment Roll is not completed at this time, it is anticipated that the Board
of Review will be adjourned to 5th day of September, 2024 at 4:00 PM.
Pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes §70.45, the Assessment Roll for the Year 2024 assessment will be
opened for examination on the 26th day of August, 2024 from 1 PM to 4 PM, 27th day of August, 2024
from 2 PM to 5 PM, 28th day of August, 2024 from 9 AM to noon at Colby City Hall, 211 W Spence
Street.
Instructional material about the assessment and Board of Review procedures will be available at
that time for information on how to file an objection and the Board of Review procedures under
Wisconsin law.
Notice is hereby given this 17th day of April, 2024.
