CITY OF COLLEGE PARK MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL REGULAR SESSION MAY 15, 2022 This will be an in-person meeting that will also broadcast via Facebook Live, and YouTube Live. Citizens wishing to give citizen remarks during a Regular Session Council meeting can choose one of two options: Option#1 Sign in to speak by 7:00 pm on May 15, 2023, at the podium in the City Hall Council Chambers. Option #2: Submit an email with your name, address, and comment/remark to pcomment@collegeparkga.com no later than 7:00 pm on May 15, 2023. The City Clerk will read your name, address and comment into the official record. Members of the Public who were unable to sign the Sign-In Sheet before the cut-off time may be granted three (3) minute to provide public comments; provided, however, that such three (3) minute of time shall not be donated to another speaker. No additional public comments will be received after the Citizens Remarks agenda item. RULES FOR REMARKS DURING COUNCIL MEETINGS • Speakers must limit their remarks to no more than (3) minutes. • Speakers must not employ tactics of intimidation, profanity, or threats of violence in their comments. Request for approval to replace the damaged sanitary sewer main located at Park Terrace. The cost for this reconstruction is $37,450. Kemi Construction Company, our On-Demand contractor will make the repair (Workshop Agenda Item 3(c). 2 8. Other Business A. Request from Kaseem Ladipo to obtain a special event permit for the Historic College Park Block Party on Saturday, May 20th from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Victoria Avenue between Walker Avenue and Rugby Avenue. Request to acceptance of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) COVID-3 Cares Act funding from Fulton County in the amount of $76,427.50 for Phase III Emergency Utility Assistance and to authorize the mayor and/or city manager to execute any related documentation or agreement to effectuate the same.
