The November 18, 2015 minutes were reviewed and changes were made. M Stange made a motion to accept the minutes with the changes. Ms. Donaty seconded the motion. All in favor; no opposed. 2. Treasurer’s Report was reviewed by Ms. Cooper. Vet services expenditures year-to-date is $1585. Animal control recovery costs are $1880. The AWC fund raising account has a balance of $11,089. 3. Shelter: There was one kitten taken into the shelter; CD and Miss Independence are still residing there also. Two cats were adopted – Black Magic and Princess Fuzzy Butt. Ben and Moxie are at Petco. One dog was found and transferred to the Prince Georges County shelter. 4. The December 5 pet pictures at Petco were very slow. Only three pictures taken. Ten dollars was received from the rescue crew and Ms. Stange added it to the Tree of Hope. We will be doing pet pictures again this Saturday, December 12. Ms. DeWalt has volunteered to assist on Saturday. Ms. Anderson also stated that she would try and be there for part of the time. 5. The Quality of Life Committee is having a Happy Hour at Ledo’s Pizza on December 17 from 5pm-7pm and will be collecting donation for the AWC and the shelter. Blankets, food, kitty litter would be the most useful. 6. Ms. Cooper inquired about the renewal of the Human Society magazine which is about $20.00 per year. Mr. Turley made a motion not to renew the subscription. Ms. Bellamy seconded the motion. All in favor; no opposed. 7. There is a stake holder’s meeting next Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at 7pm in City Hall. All past and present AWC committee members are invited. There is also a tour of the facilities on December 17 at 1pm. Ms. Bellamy requested to adjourn the meeting. Mr. Turley seconded the motion. The meeting was adjourned at 7:35pm. The committee then enjoyed a pot luck dinner.
