Reviewed the May 27, 2016 minutes. Ms. Bellamy made a motion to accept the minutes. Mr. Turley seconded the motion. All in favor; no opposed. 2. Ms. Cooper reported that there was six intakes into the shelter. Five came from Greenbelt: Maryland, 1 year old cat and four kittens and 1 stray cat, Tonka. Tonka is scheduled for neutering on Tuesday. Two of the kittens from Greenbelt were adopted. Maryland and the other two kittens are at Petco. One cat is continuing to be fostered by Ms. Donaty. 3. Ms. Cooper reported that there is a balance of $11,558 in the AWC fund. Vet expenses are $2803. There are a few invoices that need to be submitted. Cost control recovery expenses are $2625. 4. Ms. Cooper was present at the Hollywood Farmer’s Market and did six microchips. After speaking with her direct supervisor and the City Manager, the charges for residents of College Park are -0- for microchipping; non-residents will be $20. Each microchip costs $8.50. The next date will be this weekend, June 25-June 26. Ms. Cooper and Mr. Brennan will be present for both dates; Ms. Stange will only be available on June 25. A potential July date will be discussed via email. 5. Neighborhood information: Mr. Thomas, in Berwyn, indicated to Mr. Brennan that 21 of the 28 cats have been fixed. Mr. Thomas is gathering all of the papers he has on the cats and getting copies to Mr. Brennan. Mr. Thomas is onboard with trapping the cats for updated medical attention and fixing those that are not. He has four traps. It will just be volunteering to bring them to SpayNow or Spay Spot when he ready. 6. Ms. Donaty stated that the dremel tool has an engraving point. She is willing to purchase one and see if it will work for making dog name tags. She will email Mr. Brennan. 7. Ms. Cooper will be out of the office from June 30 through July 10 and back on July 11. Any issues for animals should be directed to Prince Georges County Animal Control. 8. The next meeting will be Thursday, July 28 at the VFW. Ms. Bellamy made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Mr. Turley seconded the motion. All in favor; no opposed. The meeting was adjourned at 7:25pm.
