Reviewed the August 25, 2016 minutes. Mr. Turley made a motion to accept the minutes. Ms. Anderson seconded the motion. All in favor; no opposed. 2. Ms. Cooper reported that there was five intakes into the shelter. Four of the cats were adopted; the fifth cat, Clementine, is at Petco. Buster was lost in care at Petco. There are three kittens being fostered: Little is on a trial adoption and Evan and Devon are still with Ms. Anderson. 3. The cat who was lost in the Berwyn House when the family was moving was found in the house itself. The former owners were contacted. 4. Ms. Cooper reported that there is a balance of $11,046 in the AWC fund. Vet expenses are $290 year to date. Cost control recovery expenses are $785 year to date. Received $8 donation from the Farmer’s Market. 5. Microchip update – 14 animals were microchipped in August at three clinics and three animals were microchipped in September at one clinic. October 8 and November 5 will be the next dates for microchipping. 6. Neighborhood information: Mr. Brennan is trying to reach out to Mr. Thomas’ daughter. This is gentleman in Berwyn who had a stroke and is currently in rehab. The daughter wants to get the cats trapped. Arrangements need to be made. On Tuesday, one of the dogs from All Dogs Club daycare escaped and Mr. Brennan found him. He was returned to the owner. There was a dog named Hal who was found in College Park Woods. Prince Georges County animal control picked him up, but he has been adopted.  7. Thank you to Ms. Rodeffer and Ms. Anderson for being at College Park Day on September 24. 8. Ms. Cooper discussed the idea of an Anti-Rabies clinic to potentially be held in the Spring 2017. It would be a mobile vet unit with 1 veterinarian, 1 tech, 2 volunteers and a separate staging area for the animals for 100 doses of rabies. Ms. Rodeffer made a motion that AWC should recommend the Anti-Rabies mobile clinic to City Council with the cost not to exceed $1000 based on the parameters mentioned by Ms. Cooper. Ms. Anderson seconded the motion. All in favor; no opposed. 9. The final meeting of the year will be a combination of November and December and will be held Thursday, December 8 at the VFW. Mr. Turley made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Ms. Anderson seconded the motion. All in favor; no opposed. The meeting was adjourned at 8:15pm.
