Shelter Coverage. Ms. Bellamy is copying all committee members on shelter coverage. For new members, please work with an existing member to learn what needs to be done during shelter coverage. c. Follow up items. There still seems to be a list of items from previous meetings that need to be completed. Ms. DeWalt volunteered to go through the minutes and compile a list. 6. New Business a. The Annual Report will be due upon conclusion of the fiscal year, i.e., June 30, 2019. After discussion, the last event organized by the committee was the Pet Halloween Parade in October 2017. The microchip clinics and rabies clinics were organized and predominantly staffed by Ms. Cooper. The committee did decide that the Farmers Markets are no longer a viable venue for handling microchip and/or rabies clinics. A stand along venue will need to be determined for future clinics. There is a possibility that the College Park Woods Pool clubhouse might be an option; Ms. Cooper will inquire. Potentially the May meeting could be held there for the committee to view the venue. b. Discussed events committee could organize for next FY: i. Fall Fest scheduled on October 19, 12Noon-3pm – place TBD ❖ Rabies and Microchip clinic ❖ Pet pictures in Halloween costumes ❖ Halloween pet parade ❖ Homemade dog biscuits ❖ Obtain sponsors – Mom’s Market, Petco, etc. ❖ Ms. DeWalt volunteered to contact Canada Dry about donation of canned sodas ii. Spring Fest in April – Date TBD 7. Next meeting will be May 23, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. at Davis Hall (or possibly College Park North pool clubhouse, depending on discussion with City).
