Miriam Bader X Consultants: Erin Garnass (MNCPPC) X Karen Mierow (MNCPPC) X Edythe Kelleher X Agnes Artemel X Call to Order Robert called the zoom meeting to order at 1:05 pm. Kiaisha will send minutes from 8/31/21 meeting along with draft minutes from today’s meting following conclusion of meeting Agenda approved- motion by Arelis P., 2nd Carol Gray Consultant Presentation- Artemel and Associates for the Jacob France Institute Plans: 15-20 people per group Focus on listening Facilitator will give each participant a chance to speak Will take place via zoom Groups will focus on domains of Transportation, Housing, Social, Communication and Health Svcs. Bonnie M. made inquiry about whether AARP/Senior Committee members would be present at focus groups Discussion about having too many people in a group and that committee members could be in audience or be limited to a few Agnes- noted that more community members needed for January Robert- indicated more community members would be identified Erin (MNCPPC) indicated that he will send updated work plan and will record focus groups and send notes to the committee Lee- read invitation draft Darlene suggested not emphasizing that the JFI was from Baltimore and not local to CP; suggested just using the word consultants Darlene also asked would meetings be all virtual or some in person Consultant indicated stakeholders would all meet virtually. Community Members invited in January may have in person option Robert and Angie had to depart meeting early. - Committee discussed how to invite people to populate stakeholder groups - Committee will review lists and provide preference to consultants on how to divide list - Consultants need list and feedback by 10/1 Arelis P. moved to invite all stakeholders to focus groups rather than trying to assign some here and there. Mary Anne Seconded- all were in favor Consulting team to discuss plans for October and solicit feedback on plan Old Business AARP – Kickoff planning- pushed back until after focus groups. Likely in spring 2022 Next scheduled meeting 10/25/2021 Adjournment 2:55 pm
