Calvert Hills. Pepco is currently working in Lakeland, and Berwyn and will start
in North College Park in October.
Public Works will be open two Saturdays in October on the 10th and the 24th for
fall clean up.
4. Planning Report
Ms. Schum provided an update on the Hollywood Streetscape project and presented to
the Board the landscaping details of the project. The landscaping plan shows that 17
trees are to be removed on Muskogee Street. Another 15 trees are marked for removal on
1
Muskogee Street to create a pathway that leads to the playground area. The Board
requested to have a list of the species and size of the trees that are planned to be removed.
It was also suggested that the landscape plans take into consideration the type of plants
selected. The current plan lists plants that have a lot of maintenance and the plant
maintenance will increase the workload for the City’s landscape crew.

a. September 1, 2020 City Council worksession on TLB recommendations
The Board discussed the City Council’s reaction to the Board’s tree permit

2020. Ms. Alexander will check if November 18th will work with CBE and the City
Council.
