INFORMATIONAL MEETING FOR 2024 CONCRETE ALLEY CONSTRUCTION THURSDAY, JUNE 13, 2024; 6:00 – 7:00 P.M. CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS, 3989 CENTRAL AVENUE NE This notice is to inform and encourage you to attend an informal meeting with Columbia Heights’ Engineering Department staff and the Contractor’s staff at the date and time stated above. Information will be available regarding project schedule, alley access during construction, and on-site staff. The following five alleys will be reconstructed from bituminous to concrete:  Jackson Street to Van Buren Street, 163’ North of 40th Avenue to 41st Avenue  Van Buren Street to Central Avenue, 490’ South of 41st Avenue to 41st Avenue  Monroe Street to Quincy Street, 44th Avenue to 45th Avenue  Polk Street to Taylor Street, 46th Avenue to 47th Avenue  Taylor Street to Fillmore Street, 46th Avenue to 47th Avenue Construction is anticipated to begin in mid-June.
