City of Columbia, Missouri Meeting Minutes Loan and Grant Committee Wednesday, December 14, 2016 City Hall, 701 E. Regular meeting Broadway, Rm 1A 1:30 PM I. CALL TO ORDER Since Mr. Kasmann was absent, Mr. Limback called the meeting to order. II. INTRODUCTIONS Since no members of the public were present, introductions were dispensed with. Present 3- Lynn Limback, Chris Steuber, and Mitchell Ritter Absent 1- Bill Kasmann III. APPROVAL OF AGENDA Ms. Steuber made a motion to approve the agenda; second by Mr. Ritter. The motion passed by a unanimous voice vote. IV. MOTION TO GO INTO CLOSED SESSION Ms. Steuber made a motion to go into closed session; second by Mr. Ritter; the motion passed by a unanimous voice vote. V. APPROVAL OF NOV. 16, 2016 MINUTES Ms. Steuber made a motion to approve the minutes of the Nov. 16, 2016 meeting; second by Mr. Ritter; the motion passed by a unanimous voice vote. VI. NEW BUSINESS 1 Rehab project VII. MOTION TO GO INTO OPEN SESSION Ms. Steuber made a motion to go into open session; second by Mr. Ritter; the motion passed by a unanimous voice vote. GENERAL COMMENTS BY PUBLIC, MEMBERS AND STAFF Mr. Anspach said that Randy Cole asked him to tell the committee that the CDC (Community Development Commission) has an annual bus tour of some of the projects that the CDC votes to fund; next year’s tour is April 12, 6-9 pm. The committee is invited on the tour. Mr. Ritter has done the tour the last two years. Mr. Anspach said it’s interesting to see where our funds are spent, especially in the middle of town; Rehab projects could be included. Mr. Limback asked if they could be e-mailed the details; Mr. Anspach will have Ms. Sides do that. Mr. Limback said the Fair Housing and Lending seminar is coming up and asked if Randy and/or his staff were running it; Mr. Anspach said Randy would have more information about it. IX. NEXT MEETING DATE: TO BE DETERMINED X. ADJOURNMENT Ms. Steuber made a motion to adjourn; second by Mr. Ritter; the motion passed by a unanimous voice vote.
