COLUMBUS AD HOC COMMITTEE ON FINANCIAL POLICIES COLUMBUS CITY HALL January 7, 2016 Council President Thom called the meeting to order at 8:43 p.m. Roll Call: Reid, Rule, Thom, Melotte, Crombie. Also present: City Administrator Vander Sanden, Clerk Donahue, Finance Director Manley. Thom announced that the notice for the meeting has been posted according to Wisconsin State Statutes. Motion made by Rule, second by Melotte to approve the Agenda. Motion carried on a voice vote. The Committee discussed various ways to review and address the City’s financial policies. There are many policies and issues to discuss and the group thought that a review of existing policies would be helpful at the outset. The Committee then reviewed a proposed schedule of meetings. Generally, if three members of the City Council can attend, meetings of the Ad Hoc Committee on Financial Policies would take place on the 2 nd Thursday at 6 pm. Next scheduled meeting –Thursday, January 14, 2016 at 6 pm at City Hall (2nd Ward Room).
