Regular Meeting Agenda

Hermanson made a motion to approve minutes from the November 12, 2020 meeting.
Altschwaager seconded it. Motion carried.

1. Call meeting to order: Carolyn Fredericks
2. Properly posted meeting: Check
3. Citizen comments on agenda items: None
4. Approve Agenda: Motion: Lukasavitz; Second: Hermanson; Motion carried.
5. Approve minutes from the October 8, 2020 meeting: Motion: Kurth; Second:
Altschwager. Motion carried.
6. Treasurer Report-Attached: : Motion to approve: Lukasavitz; Second: Hermanson.
Motion carried.
7. Old Business:
A. Pavilion Window Restoration Project – Phase 3:
1) Amy Jo will be presenting a summary of Phase 3 of the window
restoration project at the November 17, 2020 COW meeting: Correction:
Salzwedel and Fredericks will be presenting the summary.
B. CHLPC Fascade Grant Application: Waiting for Mayor Thom to review and
respond. Will request a carry-over of funds for “new projects” from the 2020
budget.
C. Donation envelops – redesign and order: Lukasavitz reported on design and
cost. Salzwedel made a motion to accept the design created by Minuteman Press
and place an order in an amount not to exceed $500. Altschwager seconded it.
Motion carried.
D. 2021 Calendar: Ulrich distributed calendars to members for delivery.
E. Local designations - State Historical Society representative Jason Tish to
meet with us: To be scheduled in early 2021.
8. New Business:
A. Bills:
1) Salzwedel made a motion to pay Mark Crary $1500 for the faux doors at the
Pavilion. Lukasavitz seconded it. Motion carried.
2) Lukasavitz made a motion to reimburse Ulrich $1,230.40 for the printing
of the calendars by Minuteman Press. Hermanson seconded it. Motion carried.
3) Lukasavitz made a motion to reimburse Ulrich $64.65 for postage for mailing
calendars. Altschwager seconded it. Motion carried.
B. Guest – Dominic Famularo: Famularo introduced himself as a production
manager for events such as summer concerts, etc. His extended offer was well
received in anticipation of future CHLPC events.

C. 11-5-20 meeting with Amy Jo, Kyle, and building inspectors from General
Engineering: Fredericks summarized the meeting as follows:
1) Amy Jo is the “point person” for CHLPC in communication with Council.
2) Any future project ideas will be brought to Council first for discussion and
approval to move forward..
3) Requested Amy Jo, DPW, and CHLPC to work together on project ideas and
materials in regards to the Pavilion and Resthaven..
4) Fredericks & Salzwedel appreciated the opportunity to communicate together
on the process, and expectations.
E. 2021 projects list:
1) Will check with Council on the hiring of an architect for the Rest Haven
restrooms.
