Call to Order/Roll Call A special meeting of the City Council of the City of Commerce City was called to order by Mayor Ford on October 29, 2018, at 5:45 PM. Present: 9 - Mayor Sean Ford , Mayor Pro Tem Rick A. Teter, Council Member Crystal Elliott, Council Member Steven J. Douglas, Council Member Benjamin Huseman, Council Member Jose Guardiola, Council Member Nicole Frank, Council Member Oscar Madera and Council Member Steve Davis 2. Municipal Judge Evaluation Upon completing a review of the municipal judge's performance evaluation, a motion was made by Council Member Huseman, seconded by Council Member Frank, to increase Judge Juarez’s salary by 4%, effective January 1, 2020, for the evaluation rating period of January 1, 2018 to January 1, 2019. VOTE: Unanimous; all present affirmed 3. City Attorney Evaluation Upon completion of the city attorney's performance review, a motion was made by Council Member Huseman, seconded by Council Member Madera, to increase City Attorney Sheesley’s salary by 6%, effective January 1, 2019, for the rating period of January 1, 2018 to January 1, 2019. VOTE: Unanimous; all present affirmed 4. City Manager Evaluation Upon completion of the city manager's performance review, a motion was made by Council Member Huseman, seconded by Council Member Frank, to increase City Manager McBroom’s salary by 5%, effective January 1, 2019, for the rating period January 1, 2018 to January 1, 2019.
