Call to Order/Roll Call A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Commerce City was called to order by Mayor Ford on November 18, 2019, at 6:01 PM. A motion was made by Council Member Frank, seconded by Council Member Madera, to excuse Council Member Davis from the meeting. VOTE: 8 - Aye, 1 - Excused (Davis) Present: 8 - Mayor Sean Ford , Mayor Pro Tem Rick A. Teter, Council Member Oscar Madera, Council Member Nicole Frank, Council Member Steven J. Douglas, Council Member Benjamin Huseman, Council Member Craig Hurst and Council Member Jose Guardiola Excused: 1 - Council Member Steve Davis 2. Pledge of Allegiance The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. 3. Consent Agenda A motion was made by Council Member Madera, seconded by Council Member Frank, to approve the consent agenda as presented. Res 2019-120 RESOLUTION APPOINTING KRISTIN N. BROWN AS THE LIQUOR AUTHORITY AND MARIJUANA LICENSING AUTHORITY FOR THE CITY OF COMMERCE CITY 5. Administrative Council Business Council Member Douglas asked staff to consider installing audio and video broadcasting and recording equipment in the city council study session room. Council Member Madera asked staff to look into the traffic light signal timings at Tower Road and 96th Avenue. Pres 19-472 Oil and Gas Monthly Update Interim Community Development Director Roger Tinklenberg presented the monthly oil and gas update. Council Member Guardiola asked for the previous oil and gas focus group members to be included on the stakeholder feedback process for the oil and gas land development code update ordinance. Council Member Huseman requested all residents be given the opportunity to participate in the feedback process as well. 6. Council Reports Deputy City Manager Smith highlighted items presented in his weekly report provided to council earlier. The mayor and council reported on their attendance at various meetings and events. 7. Adjourn The meeting adjourned at 6:52 p.m. In accord with the city charter, the city attorney read the title to all ordinances and resolutions adopted by Council at this meeting.
