Call to Order/Roll Call A special meeting of the City Council of the City of Commerce City was called to order by Mayor Huseman on January 31, 2022 at 7:06 PM. Present: 9 - Mayor Benjamin Huseman, Mayor Pro Tem Jennifer Allen-Thomas, Council Member Oscar Madera, Council Member Rick Davis, Council Member Susan Noble, Council Member Craig Hurst, Council Member Meghan Grimes, Council Member Sean Ford and Council Member Kristi Douglas Times given are estimates only 2. Resolution Res 2022-13 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THIRD AMENDMENT OF AGREEMENT FOR APPOINTMENT OF MUNICIPAL COURT JUDGE A motion was made by Council Member Noble, seconded by Council Member Hurst, that this resolution be adopted. VOICE VOTE: Aye: 9- Mayor Huseman, Mayor Pro Tem Allen-Thomas, Council Member Madera, Council Member Davis, Council Member Noble, Council Member Hurst, Council Member Grimes, Council Member Ford and Council Member Douglas 3. Interviews 22-22 Municipal Judge Interviews Armando Guardiola, Director of Human Resources, introduced the interview process and applicants. 4. Executive Session Commerce City Page 1 City Council Meeting Minutes - Final January 31, 2022 22-21 An Executive Session pursuant to C.R.S. § 24-6-402(4)(e)(I) to determine positions relative to negotiations with candidates for the position of Municipal Court Judge and instructing negotiators accordingly, and pursuant to C.R.S. § 24-6-402(4)(g) for the consideration of documents protected from the mandatory nondisclosure provisions of the Colorado Open Records Act A motion was made by Council Member Noble, seconded by Council Member Madera, to enter into an executive session pursuant to C.R.S. § 24-6-402(4)(e)(I) to determine positions relative to negotiations with candidates for the position of Municipal Court Judge and instructing negotiators accordingly, and pursuant to C.R.S. § 24-6-402(4)(g) for the consideration of documents protected from the mandatory nondisclosure provisions of the Colorado Open Records Act.
