Call To Order/Roll Call Present: Councilman Guardiola, Councilman Hurst, Samantha Hunt, Jacob Wilson, Abe Ramirez, Angela Ramirez, Lucy Molina, Kristi Douglas, Jhoni Grabinski Absent: Jennie Loveridge 2. Approval of Minutes Minutes 12/10/2019 Attachments: Minutes Board member Douglas motioned to approve. Wilson seconded. Motion was unanimously approved. This Minutes was approved 3. Committee Reports and Discussion o PUBLIC ART/ART SHOWS Adult Art Show Board members Ramirez and Molina will meet with staff to do some preliminary planning. Art Exhibition Members talked about the promotion of the call for artwork. o MUSIC IN THE PARK COMMITTEE Band Selection, Finalize Location/Date/Time The planning committee gave the board their selection of bands per concert. Councilman Guardiola motioned to move forward with the top picks as decided by the committee. Douglas seconded the motion. Motion was approved unanimously. Group agreed on dates, locations and time for each event. The community room at Bison Ridge will be reserved for rain out dates. Board member Ramirez also inquired about new banners. He will bring back a quote next month. o FUNDRAISING/GRANTS SCFD Grant Application due in March. What projects should we ask for funding? Proposed ideas: bring in a big name band for one of the concerts in the park or create a dancing event with performers. o MARKETING AND OUTREACH Board member Ramirez and staff will meet to order items for the year. New Business Board members got a copy of the by-laws to review at home and bring back edits next month. 5. Elections Board members nominated for President: Abe Ramirez and Kristi Douglas Board members nominated for Vice President: Samantha Hunt. Ramirez declined to accept his nomination. Douglas accepted her nomination. Board members unanimously approved. Hunt accepted her nomination. Board members unanimously approved. 6. Member Comments/Announcements Heart & Sol of CHAC Fundraiser Feb 08, 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM CHAC - Chicano Humanities & Arts Council Local galleries or displays, send to member Hunt for a column she is helping write. 7.
