Call To Order/Roll Call Present: Councilman Jose Guardiola, Councilman Craig Hurst, Kristi Douglas, Samantha Hunt-Duran, Abraham Ramirez, Angela Ramirez, Jacqueline Riggs-Gonzales, Johni Grabinski, Lucy Molina, Jodi Hardee, Ronna Sanchez 2. Regular Business Treasurer Riggs-Gonzales gave a report on last months financials. Approval of Minutes Minutes 02/11/2020 Attachments: Minutes Minutes were unanimously approved 3. Committee Reports and Discussion PUBLIC ART/ART SHOWS Members discussed the public art shows and exhibitions. City staff updated the group that the Fronterra Park/Tower Rd. public art dedication would be a combined dedication (similar to previous art dedications with multiple locations). Cultural Council voted at the meeting to ask RTD if they can provide artwork for two of the boxes and the city provide artwork for two of the boxes. The Cultural Council would let RTD choose the artwork for all four, as long as they select two of the Commerce City artists. If RTD rejects this proposal, the Cultural Council and City Council will let RTD move forward with no participation from the city for the wraps. The city will find wrap locations for the city artists (in or near the core city if possible). Councilman Guardiola also directed the city to ask RTD to include the Cultural Council logo on their art and also increase the artist payment to $1,000 per artist (up from the suggested $400). MUSIC IN THE PARK Members reviewed and approved the new marketing flier. Members voted on the movie selections for Cine en el Parqe: Jumanji, Aladdin, Dora and the Lost City of Golf, Spiderman: Far From Home. I don’t have a record of what movies were selected. FUNDRAISING/GRANTS No discussion. MARKETING AND OUTREACH Ramirez shared new marketing items with group.
