Call To Order/Roll Call Meeting was called to order at 6:04 p.m. Present: Abraham Ramirez, Angela Ramirez, Sandra Escobar, Kelly Rayos, Ronna Sanchez, Jacqueline Riggs-Gonzales, Councilman Jose Guardiola, Councilman Craig Hurst, Jennifer Martin, Johni Grabinski, Samantha Hunt-Duran Absent: Maria Arce 1. Call To Order/Roll Call 2. Regular Business Items Financial Update Member Riggs-Gonzales gave the board an update on April financials. Volunteer Hours Staff will make sure to add new members to the board's sharepoint. 3. Approval of Minutes Motion to approve meeting minutes by member Riggs-Gonzales. Seconded by member Ramirez. Minutes were approved. Attachments: Minutes 4/13/2021 4. New Business Art Shows -Staff will work on new call for artists -Member Sanchez will check-in with SCFD to confirm funds for art shows can be rolled over. Proposed spending of funds by members is to have a catered winter art show. Music in the Park -No confirmed sponsorships. -Staff will e-mail out the draft flyer for proposed edits. Commerce City Eats -Councilman Guardiola asked for a save the date flyer. Committee will meet soon to Commerce City Page 1 Cultural Council Meeting Minutes May 11, 2021 revisit event details. 5. Other Business Sculpture at Pioneer Park has been vandalized. Currently, art consultant is going out for bids to determine cost of repair and will bring back information to Cultural Council for ultimate decision. Members discussed a Dance Showcase event.
