Call To Order/Roll Call a. Meeting was called to order at 6:04 p.m. b. Attendance was taken. Present: Angela Ramirez, Abe Ramirez, Jacqueline Riggs-Gonzales, Jennifer Martin, Linda Barr, Ronna Sanchez, Maria Arce, Kristi Douglas, Alondra Gonzalez Carrillo. Absent: Kelly Reyos (excused) and Craig Hurst. 2. Approval of Minutes Jennifer Martin moves to approve the minutes. Jacqueline Riggs-Gonzales seconded the motion. Minutes were approved. All members answered the following question: "What in life do you feel most grateful for?" 4. Regular Business Items a. Financial update given by Jacqueline. b. Grant update given by Ronna. 5. Committee Reports and Discussions The following committees updated the rest of the council on what they were working on: a. Public Art/Art Shows b. Marketing/Outreach c. Music in the Park - Members were asked to consider a stipend for band members to allow them to get food during the concerts d. Jennifer and Ronna will be presenting to students at Be the Change Community School's Summer Camp. b. Cultural Council will plan to participate in the parade and will have a presence at the event following the parade. c. Cultural Council now has a free storage area at the Historical Society Museum. d. Request to create a banner for the stage during Music in the Park. e. Merch/Swag ideas were requested and more options will be presented at the next meeting. 7. Adjourn Meeting was adjourned at 7:38 p.m. Commerce City Page 2
