Call to Order Chair Martin called the meeting to order at 6:08 p.m. Present 6 - Board Member Augusta Jonhart, Board Member Jan Cruz, Board Member Jennifer Martin, Board Member Kelly Reyos, Board Member Lupita Arce, and Ronna Sanchez Absent 4 - Board Member Nick Gonzalez, Board Member Linda Barr, Board Member Jackie Riggs-Gonzalez, and Board Member Marisol Shaw 2. Community Time Chair Martin led Community Time. 3. Approval of Minutes Min 23-279 Minutes of Oct. 28, 202 Meeting Board member Sanchez made a motion to approve the minutes of the Oct. 23, 2023 meeting. Recruitment & Engagement No update. 6. Subcommittee Reports: i. Music in the Park None. ii. Art Exhibitions Discussed under New Business. 7. New Business: i. 2024 Goals & Budget Approval The Cultural Council reviewed the proposed 2024 goals and budget. Board member Sanchez made a motion to approve the 2024 goals. Board member Arce seconded the motion which was approve unanimously. Board member Arce made a motion to approve the 2024 budget. Board member Cruz seconded the motion which was approved unanimously. ii. Approval to Switch Bank Account Board member Cruz made a motion to approve switching the band account from a debit account to a credit account. Board member Arce seconded the motion which was approved unanimously. iii. Approval of Winter Art Show Participants Staff displayed the submissions for the Winter Art Show. Board member Jonhart made a motion to accept all submissions. Board member Cruz seconded the motion. The motion passed 4-1. Chair Martin requested $200 in funding for food and supplies for the Winter Art Show opening reception. Board member Cruz made a motion to spend up to $200 for the Winter Art Show opening reception.
