General public can have physical/virtual access and participate in this meeting by using the Zoom registration Link: https://c3gov.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_f3nypYsw Call to Order Meeting was called to order at 5:37pm Roll Call Present 4 - Board Member Adan Ramos, Board Member Edwin Flores, Alternate Board Member Oscar Madera, and Board Member Yung Hong Approval of Minutes Min 23-065 January 17, 2023 Derby Review Board Minutes Board Member Hong called for a motion, Council Member Regular Madera seconded Ayes: 4- Board Member Ramos, Board Member Flores, Alternate Board Member Madera and Board Member Hong Action Item(s): Commerce City Page 1 Derby Review Board Meeting Minutes - Final March 21, 2023 Pres 23-217 DRB-088-23: FRED LOYA SIGN, 7250 MONACO STREET SUITE A, COMMERCE CITY, CO 80022 ZONED PUD IS REQUESTING THE FOLLOWING: • APPROVAL OF A NEW WALL SIGN City Planner, Nathan Chavez, presented the case. Board Member Hong asked what will happen to the existing sign. Planner said that they will remove the Fred Loya banner and will place a new cabinet. Clarified that Suite B will be the Ice Cream sign. Chairperson noted that they will clean out the cabinet and the empty banner and if the new signs are within the guidelines and regulations of the new signs, there is no reservations. At this time, Chairperson Flores invited the applicant, Jeff Murschel to speak, but staff did not have further comments or questions. Murshcel noted that they were going to keep the design within the guidelines. Seeing no further comments or registered, Chairperson closed the case and moved on for a motion: "Based upon the finding that the applicant meets the design principles of the Derby Design Guidelines, I move that the Derby Review Board grant approval in case DRB- 088-23, a Derby Redevelopment," All approved A motion was made by Board Member Hong, seconded by Board Member Ramos, that this Presentation be recommended for approvalVOTE: Ayes: 4- Board Member Ramos, Board Member Flores, Alternate Board Member Madera and Board Member Hong Board Business City Planner motioned that there will not be an April meeting. There is also a lot of new Derby Review Board member applicants.
