Call To Order/Roll Call Vice Chairman Alire called the meeting was called to order at 1:00 p.m. Present 3 - Regular Member Nit Hamby, Regular Member Susan Carabajal, and Regular Member Rick A. Teter Absent 2 - Council Alternate René Bullock, and Regular Member Joshua Orth 2. Approval of Minutes Min 15-09 Minutes of the October 7, 2014 Liquor Authority meeting A motion was made by Board Member Teter, seconded by Board Member Hamby, to approve the minutes of October 7, 2014. VOTE: Unanimous; all present affirmed 3. Citizen Communication There was no citizen communication. 4. New Business Pres 15-76 Renewal Hearing: Monaco Plaza Liquors 6610 Monaco Street Vice Chairman Alire opened the public hearing. Entering their appearances: Patrick Tooley, Registration #15273, on behalf of the licensee Robert Sheesley, City Attorney, on behalf of the city Attorney Sheesley stated that the city and the licensee have reached a stipulation. The stipulation provides that on three occasions, an employee of the licensee sold alcoholic beverages to a minor. A penalty of nine days suspension, with four days to be served from 12:01 a.m. February 21, 2015, through 11:59 p.m. February 24, 2015. The remaining five days would be held in abeyance for a period of one year. Attorney Tooley presented copies of TIPS training cards for the employees and photos of the warning signs posted throughout the licensed premises. A motion was made by Board Member Teter, seconded by Board Member Alire to accept the stipulation as presented. VOTE: Unanimous; all present affirmed A motion was made by Vice Chair Alire, seconded by Board Member to Teter to renew the retail liquor store license of 6610 Monaco, Inc., dba Monaco Plaza Liquors, 6610 Monaco St. VOTE: Unanimous; all present affirmed 5.
