Call To Order/Roll Call Hearing Officer Ablao called the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m. 2. Citizen Communication None. 3. New Business Pres 15-358 New Application for a Beer and Wine Liquor License Coffee House Holdings, Inc. dba Starbucks 13604 10339 Tower Road Commerce City, CO 80022 Hearing Officer Ablao opened the public hearing. Entering their Appearances: Attorney Brian Proffitt, Registration #31101, on behalf of the applicant. Andrea Moudakis, on behalf of the applicant Kelly Pietrs, on behalf of the petitioning company Andrea Moudakis was sworn in and testified that Starbucks has begun a new program focused on providing beer and wine and small plate menu options in the evening. Alcohol service would begin at 2:00 p.m. and end at 10:00 p.m. seven days per week. Ms. Moudakis reviewed the training program and policies regarding alcohol sales. Kelly Pietrs from Esquire Petitioning was sworn in and testified to the petitioning method and results. The results were 93% in support of issuance. No one from the neighborhood spoke in favor or opposition of the application. Hearing Officer Ablao closed the public hearing and made the following findings: Based on the evidence presented the adult inhabitants of the neighborhood desire the issuance of the license. The reasonable requirements of the neighborhood for the type of license sought is not currently being met. Commerce City Page 1 Liquor License Authority Meeting Minutes - Final June 16, 2015 The number, type, and availability of liquor outlets locate in or near the neighborhood do not preclude the issuance of the license. The license application is approved contingent on satisfactory inspect of the premises by the city and compliance with the liquor code, rules, regulations and municipal ordinances. 4.
