Call To Order Hearing Officer Ablao called to order the Liquor Licensing Authority Meeting at 1:57PM. 2. Approval of Minutes Min 18-71 Approval of Minutes of March 20, 2018 Hearing Officer Ablao approved the minutes of March 20, 2018. This Minutes was approved 3. Public Hearings Pres 18-16 3.2% Off Premise License Application of Menabet, Inc. & 7-Eleven, Inc. dba 7-Eleven #38351A to be located at 15200 E. 120th Ave. Hearing Officer Ablao opened the public hearing Appearing: John Stonebracher, registration #9517, on behalf of the applicant Rachel Berry, on behalf of the applicant Mellati Zewdu, on behalf of the applicant Carol Johnson, petitioner, on behalf of the applicant Carol Johnson was sworn in and testified to the petition process and results. Hearing Officer Ablao addressed a typo in the petition report with Carol Johnson. Rachel Berry was sworn in and testified about her role as the manager of the store, day-to-day operations, training procedures and sales policies. Hearing Officer Ablao asked Ms. Berry about the certificate of occupancy, food sales percentages, disciplinary actions. Hearing Officer Ablao asked Ms. Zewdu about her level of supervision over employees. Attorney Stonebracher made closing statements in support of the application. Hearing Officer Ablao made the following findings: the license will be conditionally approved upon the issuance of a certificate of occupancy within 120 days, satisfactory Commerce City Page 1 Liquor License Authority Meeting Minutes - Final August 17, 2018 background checks, compliance with the liquor code, rules, regulations and all municipal ordinances pertaining to liquor licenses, business license. 4. Administrative Business 18-61 Show Cause Hearing Request: for the Tavern License of Cheddar, Please! Entertainment, LLC dba Hardtimes located at 6771 E. 80th Ave. Hearing Officer Ablao required testimony or a sworn affidavit be submitted regarding the facts that support the probable cause requirement for a liquor violation. She continued the matter to the next authority meeting. However, if the affidavit is provided ahead of time, the date can be vacated. 18-72 Show Cause Hearing Request for the Tavern License of 6171 LLC dba The Hideaway Saloon located at 6171 Olive St Hearing Officer Ablao required a probable cause affidavit to be submited on or before the next authority meeting. 5.
