Call To Order The meeting was called to order by Hearing Officer Ablao on Friday, May 13, 2016, at 1:00 pm 2. Approval of Minutes Min 16-48 Meeting Minutes of April 22, 2016 The minutes are approved as presented. 3. Public Hearings Pres 16-360 APPLICATION FOR A RETAIL MARIJUANA PRODUCTS MANUFACTURER LICENSE AND A MEDICAL MARIJUANA-INFUSED PRODUCTS MANUFACTURER LICENSE FOR LP CAPITAL, LLC AT 9690 DALLAS ST. UNITS I +J Hearing Officer Ablao opened the public hearing. She stated that the authority's official file is admitted into the record for the hearing. Ashley Pollock appeared as attorney of record for the city. The following appeared on behalf of the applicant, LP Capital, LLC: Garrett Graff, Registration #47539 Gabriel Fenton, sworn in by the hearing officer Brock Romero, sworn in by the hearing officer Mr. Fenton testiified to his educational and employment history. He stated that he is the owner/manager of LP Capital and bears sole responsibility for the business and its day-to-day operations. This is his first marijuana business and he intends to hire individuals who have industry experience. The materials will come from licensed growers and infused into smokeables and vapor products. The business will not be open to the public and onsite consumption will be prohibited. In response to questions posed by the city, Mr. Fenton stated that he has no financial interest in Dallas Street Holdings; however, he does have signature authorization. In regards to his public consumption ticket out of Boulder, he stated that he was a few feet of his property and received a ticket. Since that time he has educated himself on public consumption laws. Mr. Romero testified to his educational and employment history. He stated that he will be responsiible for the daily operations and trainings and was the person who Commerce City Page 1 Marijuana Licensing Authority Meeting Minutes - Final May 13, 2016 circulated the petition to establish the desires of the neighborhood. There being no one from the public in attendance, Hearing Officer Ablao closed the public hearing and stated she will issue her findings within 30 days. Pres 16-361 APPLICATION FOR A TIER 1 RETAIL MARIJUANA CULTIVATION LICENSE OF BOARDLIFE, LLC DBA KUSH LIFE, LOCATED AT 5715 FAIRFAX STREET Secretary Laura Bauer informed Hearing Officer Ablao that the applicant has asked for a continuance of the public hearing because he is attending a wedding out of state. Attorney Garrett Graff appeared on behalf of the applicant and confirmed Mr. Bauer's statements. Hearing Officer Ablao continued the public hearing to Friday, June 3, 2016. 4.
