Roll Call Jessica Main called roll. Present 4 - Chair Jonathan Popiel, Vice Chair Andrew Amador, Commissioner Dennis Cammack, and Commissioner L. Warren Jones Excused 1 - Commissioner Karen Anderson Staff in attendance: Caitlin Long, Planner Jason Rogers, Community Development Director Steve Timms, Planning Manager Jennifer Jones, Principal Planner Matt Hader, Deputy City Attorney Jessica Main, Administrative Specialist Tricia Mason, Executive Administrative Supervisor Approval of Minutes: Min 20-07 December 3, 2019 Minutes Attachments: 12_December 3, 2019_Minutes_Draft A motion was made by Commissioner Jones, seconded by Commissioner Cammack, that this Minutes be approved. VOTE: Unanimous, all present affirmed. Case(s): Pres 20-16 Z-953-18-20: Atwell, LLC is requesting approval of a replacement PUD Zone Document for approximately 600 acres to allow for various uses including residential, commercial, parks and schools, office/flex, and subsurface extraction of oil and gas, located at the northeast corner of E 88th Ave and Tower Rd, currently zoned PUD. Commerce City Page 1 Planning Commission Meeting Minutes - Final January 7, 2020 Attachments: Project Report Vmap Narrative FLUP2 Traffic Study PUD Zone Document Matt Hader, Deputy City Attorney, introduced the case and introduced staff presenting the case. Caitlin Hasenbalg Long, City Planner, notified commissioners that the notice by placard on the property did not occur as required by our Land Development Code, section 21-3180. Despite proper notice by mail and publication, the city is recommending that the case be continued until next Tuesday, January 14, to allow for the required placard notice on the property to occur. Chairman Popiel called for a motion. Motion made by Commissioner Cammack: I move to continue the public hearing for case Z-953-18-20, requesting rezoning of the property at E 88th Avenue and Tower Road, to Tuesday, January 14, 2020, at 6:00pm, to allow for compliance with the requirement of notice by placard consistent with LDC Section 21-3180.
