Zoom Registration: https://c3gov.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_hoz-pSSdQ8uZwiDZg Planning Commission o9DfQ Planning Commission Meeting Minutes - Final July 19, 2022 Call to Order Meeting was called to order at 6:04 pm Roll Call Staff in Attendance: Sarah Geiger, Deputy City Attorney Jim Tolbert, Director of Community Development Steve Timms, Planning Manager Tricia McKinnon, Community Development Manager Jennifer Jones, Principal Planner Evelyn Flores, Administrative Assistance III Kim Adame, Planning Commission Liaison Present 5 - Commissioner Andrew Amador, Commissioner Angela VanDijk, Commissioner Garret Biltoft, Chair Jonathan Popiel, and Alternate Commissioner Steven J. Douglas Pledge of Allegience Approval of Minutes: Min 22-201 Attachments: Minutes 6_07_2022 A motion was made by Commissioner Amador, seconded by Commissioner Biltoft, that this Minutes be approved. VOTE: Ayes: 5- Commissioner Amador, Commissioner VanDijk, Commissioner Biltoft, Chair Popiel and Alternate Commissioner Douglas Action Items: Commerce City Page 1 Planning Commission Meeting Minutes - Final July 19, 2022 Pres 22-402 LDC Annexation Adoption Sponsors: Administrative Specialist Memmer Attachments: 01. Staff Report Annexation Agreements 02. Ordinance 2411_Annexation Agreements Planning Manager, Steve Timms, presented the case. Vice Chair Amador had a question confirming that the language changes have gone through the City Attorney and City Council. Staff confirmed that the language was correct. Seeing no public comments or members of the public to speak on this case, Chair Popiel closed the public comment portion and moved for motion. A motion was made by Commissioner Douglas: "I move that Planning Commission recommend that City Council approve the proposed ordinance #2411 amending the Commerce City Land Development Code." Seconded by commissioner Biltoft that the case be approved. VOTE: Ayes: 5- Commissioner Amador, Commissioner VanDijk, Commissioner Biltoft, Chair Popiel and Alternate Commissioner Douglas Board Business: Chair Popiel noted that there will not be a Planning Commission in August 2nd, but there will possibly be a joint meeting with City Council on the Comprehensive Plan update on August 8th. Chair Popiel and the board also took time to acknowledged the passing of Commissioner Yost and thanked him for the service and time he has given. Attorney Business: None Staff Business: Tricia McKinnon presented the new Administrative Specialist, Evelyn Flores.
