Call to Order Chair Hellewell called the meeting to order at 6:33 p.m. Present 6 - Board Member Braden Hellewell, Board Member Melinda Larson, President Laura Hellewell, Board Member Theresa Wilson, Board Member Stephanie Levi, and Board Member Kayla Burby Absent 1 - Board Member Laurel Eller 2. Approval of Minutes Min 23-167 Minutes of the May 23, 2023 Meeting Chair Hellewell made a motion to approve the minutes of May 23, 2023. Vice Chair Larson seconded the motion which was approved unanimously. 3. Monthly Treasurer's Report Board member Wilson provided a monthly treasurer's report. 4. Subcommittee Reports: A. Scholarship Program i. Student Request Staff presented the student request of utilizing scholarship funding a study abroad program. The Board provided direction allowing for the funding to be used if the program is verified and meets credit requirements outlined in the Scholarship Agreement. B. Curt Holland Memorial Golf Tournament The Board discussed swag options and golf tournament logistics. Board member Wilson made a motion to approve purchasing 190 shirts and 190 ditty bags in an amount not to exceed $5,000 for swag. Chair Hellewell seconded the motion which was approved unanimously. C. Nonprofit Grants No updates. Commerce City Page 1 Quality Community Foundation Meeting Minutes - Final June 27, 2023 5, New Business: A. Chamber of Commerce Dues The Board discussed. Chair Hellewell made a motion to approve $250 for Chamber of Commerce Annual Dues. Vice Chair Larson seconded the motion which was approved unanimously. 6. Old Business None. 7. Other Business Staff shared a check-in on goals would be presented at the July meeting, and to save the date for the Annual Retreat on Dec. 9. Chair Hellewell provided a social media update. 8.
