1. Call To Order - 6:30pm
Theresa Wilson called the meeting to order at 6:35pm. Board members Theresa
Wilson, Kayla Burby, and Stephanie Levi were present. Chair Lindy Larson and Board
member Sarai Thomas were absent.
2. Approval of Minutes
Theresa Wilson made a motion to approve the minutes. The motion was seconded by
Kayla Burby, which was approved unanimously.

3. Monthly Treasurer's Report
Theresa Wilson presented. There is $200 added to the scholarship fund from a
previous uncashed check. Wilson will send the year end report to the group soon.
4. Subcommittee Reports
A. Nonprofit Grants
Calendar was reviewed. Grant numbers are aligned with what we have seen in the past.
A social media post has been made to remind organizations to apply. Scoring process
was reviewed by Theresa Wilson. If board members have questions about the
Kaleidoscope program, they should reach out to Melissa Sumner.
B. Scholarship Program
Calendar was reviewed.

C. Curt Holland Golf Tournament
Golf tournament construction will require the event to acquire a tent. Discussions were
had to determine how to cover funds. Theresa Wilson is following up with the golf
course to negotiate pricing of the facility while under construction. Stephanie Levi
shared current bid pricing she received ($3,429 for a 30x50 tent on concrete), and she
will continue to research more.
Event kick-off event is scheduled for March 12 at noon at the golf course. All are
encouraged to attend. Information will be shared soon to promote to potential
sponsors.
Kayla Burby is working on the silent auction.
Discussion was had regarding the sharing of net proceeds after the event. Theresa
Wilson has committed to announcing funds raised by Aug 30 (7 days post event). This
will be shared with a video from the Community Relations team.
D. Prom Updates
Concern was expressed with the diminishing board's capacity to be involved in this
event. All agreed that they would like to withdraw their participation and refocus on
recruitment. Staff liaison Melissa Sumner will follow up with Chair Lindy Larson to get
her thoughts on this event.
5. New Business
Vice Chair Braden Hellewell resigned. Theresa Wilson made a motion to nominate
Stephanie Levi as the new Vice Chair. Kayla Burby seconded the motion, which
passed unanimously.
6. Old Business
The April meeting will be hybrid.
7. Other Business
The committee asked Staff Liaison Melissa Sumner to pursue 3-4 community night
fundraisers at local restaurants.
Board members Stephanie Levi and Kayla Burby shared events and volunteer
opportunities happening in the community.
8. Adjourn - 8:30pm
Theresa Wilson adjourned the meeting at 7:44pm.
