1. Call To Order
Chair Plummer called the meeting to order at 3:02 p.m.
Present 11 - Commissioner Carol Taylor-Boyd, Commissioner Carole Harvell, Alternate
Commissioner Diane Narvaez, Ex Officio Gabriela Adeshewo,
Commissioner George Maxey, Commissioner Mary Chan, Commissioner
Mary Natho, Council Member Susan Noble, Commissioner Tillie Villareal,
Commissioner Carlita Plummer, and Commissioner Tina Ledesma
Absent 4 - Commissioner Anita Mercado, Commissioner Jennie Loveridge, Mayor Pro
Tem Jennifer Allen-Thomas, and Commissioner Myrna Ferguson
2. Guest Speaker: PRG Master Plan Presentation & Discussion
Parks, Recreation and Golf (PRG) led a discussion on the PRG Master Plan. The
Commission provided feedback.
3. Approval of Minutes
Min 23-224 Minutes of the August 10, 2023 Meeting
Commissioner Maxey made a motion to approve the minutes of the Aug. 10, 2023
meeting. Commissioner Chan seconded the motion which was approved unanimously.
4. Public Comment
None.
5. Monthly Budget Update
Staff provided a budget update.
6. New Business:
A. Annual Planning Meeting
The Commission discussed the upcoming planning meeting. Vice Chair Boyd made a
motion to extend October's monthly meeting by one hour. Commissioner Chan
seconded the motion which was approved unanimously.

7. Old Business:
A. Fall Fest Craft & Funding
Vice Chair Boyd made a motion to approve up to $500 for Fall Fest supplies.
Commissioner Narvaez seconded the motion which was approved unanimously.
B. October Senior Outreach Event
The October Lunch & Learn event was discussed.
C. 2023 Senior Commission Service Project
The Commission discussed the 2023 Service Project.
8. Other Business
None.
9. City Council Update
Councilwoman Noble provided a City Council update.
10. Adjourn
Chair Plummer adjourned the meeting at 5:02 p.m.
