Call To Order/Roll Call - 3:00 PM Commissioner Taylor-Boyd called the meeting to order at 3:05 pm. Present 6 - Commissioner Carol Taylor-Boyd, Commissioner Carole Harvell, Alternate Commissioner Diane Narvaez, Commissioner Mary Chan, Commissioner Tina Ledesma, and Ex Officio Tina Ledesma Absent 6 - Mayor Pro Tem Susan Noble, Council Member Kristi Douglas, Commissioner Gabriela Adeshewo, Commissioner Mary Natho, Commissioner Myrna Ferguson, and Commissioner Carlita Plummer 2. Approval of Minutes Min 24-036 Revised Minutes of the January 11th, 2024 meeting. A motion was made by commissioner Chan, seconded by Commissioner Harvell, that these minutes be approved. VOICE VOTE: Unanimous, all present affirmed. Min 24-043 Minutes of the February 8th 2024 meeting. A motion was made by Commissioner Harvell, seconded by Commissioner Chan, that these minutes be approved. VOICE VOTE: Unanimous, all present affirmed. 3. Public Comment - No members of the public signed up to speak. 4. Review 2024 Goals The commission reviewed the 2024 goals. A motion was made by Commissioner Chan, seconded by Commissioner Narvaez to approve the budget. VOICE VOTE: Unanimous, all present affirmed. 6. Lunch & Learn Discussion A motion was made by Commissioner Chan, seconded by Commissioner Harvell to have the Fire Department and Center for Innovation as presenters for the Lunch & Learn event. VOICE VOTE: Unanimous, all present affirmed. 7. Senior Resources Fair Updates The commission reviewed the Senior Resource Fair vendor list and provided suggestions for additional vendors. 8. New Business The commission proposed a visit at Kearney Plaza senior living facility. 9. Other Business The commission reviewed the Senior Needs Assessment and discussed the findings. 10. City Council Updates No updates were provided. 11. Adjourn - 5:00 PM This meeting was adjourned at 5:06 pm.
