Call To Order/Roll Call Chair Plummer called the meeting to order at 3:04 p.m. Present 8 - Mayor Pro Tem Susan Noble, Commissioner Carol Taylor-Boyd, Commissioner Carole Harvell, Alternate Commissioner Diane Narvaez, Commissioner Gabriela Adeshewo, Commissioner Mary Natho, Commissioner Carlita Plummer, and Ex Officio Tina Ledesma Absent 4 - Council Member Kristi Douglas, Commissioner Anita Mercado, Commissioner Mary Chan, and Commissioner Myrna Ferguson 2. Approval of Minutes Min 24-057 Minutes of the March 21, 2024 meeting. Attachments: March Meeting Minutes A motion was made by Commissioner Taylor-Boyd, seconded by Alternate Commissioner Narvaez, that the Minutes be approved. VOICE VOTE: Unanimous, all present affirmed. 3. Guest Speaker-Christian Jimenez Christian Jimenez and Crystal Armendariz, with CDOT, came to discuss the I-270 Corridor Improvements project. 4. Senior Resource Fair Updates The commission discussed responsibilities for the Senior Resource Fair. 5. Lunch & Learn Updates Commission discussed planning in preparation for the upcoming Lunch & Learn on April 24th, 2024. Commerce City Page 1 Senior Commission Meeting Minutes April 11, 2024 6. Senior Needs Assessment Review Mayor Pro Tem Noble noted the city council will see the senior needs assessment on June 24th, 2024. The commission discussed moving the annual update to city council from June 3rd to a later date in July. 7. New Business 8. Other Business Tilly, a member of the public, came to invite the Senior Commission to resource fairs in Adams County in June. 9.
