Call To Order/Roll Call Chair Carlita Plummer called the meeting to order at 3:03 p.m. Present 10 - Mayor Pro Tem Susan Noble, Council Member Kristi Douglas, Commissioner Carol Taylor-Boyd, Ex Officio Tina Ledesma, Commissioner Carlita Plummer, Council Member E. Diane Narvaez, Council Member Melinda Mcgowan, Commissioner Carole Harvell, Commissioner Mary Natho, and Commissioner Scott Hefty Absent 2 - Commissioner Gabriela Adeshewo, and Commissioner Myrna Ferguson 2. Approval of Minutes Min 24-076 Minutes of the April 11th meeting Attachments: Minutes A motion was made by Commissioner Boyd, Seconded by Commissioner Natho, to approve these minutes with the corrections to the attendance. 3. Public Comment - There was no public comment. 4. New Member Update New members Commissioner Hefty and Commissioner Mcgowan introduced themselves to the group. Commissioner Narvaez and Commissioner Natho presented themselves as new regular members, from Ex-officio members. The members introduced themselves to the new Commissioners. 5. Lunch & Learn Scheduling Members discussed holding the second Lunch and Learn in late July or early August. 7. Senior Needs Assessment Survey The commission presented copies of the Senior Needs Assessment to new members and planned to discuss this at the June 13th meeting. 8. Monthly Budget Update The commission reviewed expenses from the first Lunch and Learn and reviewed the budget for the second Lunch and Learn. 9. New Business - Event/Project Retrospectives Members discussed their experience with the most recent Lunch and Learn. 10. Other Business Members discussed planning for the Memorial Day Parade event. 11. City Council Update No city council update was requested. 12.
