Call To Order/Roll Call Chairman Ford called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. A motion was made by Commissioner Huseman, seconded by Commissioner Douglas, to excuse Commissioners Tedesco and Fairfield. VOTE: 9 aye, 2 excused (Tedesco, Fairfield), 1 vacant (Archuleta) A motion was made by Commissioner Madera, seconded by Commissioner Elliot, to accept the appointment of Harvest Thomas by the Adams 14 School District to the Urban Renewal Authority. Approval of Minutes Min URA Urban Renewal Authority Minutes of April 16, 2018 2018-02 A motion was made by Commissioner Diaz, seconded by Commissioner Elliott, that the minutes be approved. Resolutions Planner Jenny Axmacher presented on all three resolutions. Ms. Axmacher outlined the benefits that urban renewal authorities provide communities and the requirements they are mandated to meet by the State of Colorado. She provided background and summary of all actions the authority has taken on the Mile High Greyhound Plan. Ms. Axmacher resented the plan's objectives and timeline of the phases for the project. She outlined each of the resolutions being brought forward tonight. Res URA RESOLUTION OF THE URBAN RENEWAL AUTHORITY OF THE CITY 2018-03 OF COMMERCE CITY RECOMMENDING THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COMMERCE CITY MAKE CERTAIN LEGISLATIVE FINDINGS AND APPROVE THE MILE HIGH GREYHOUND PARK URBAN RENEWAL PLAN A motion was made by Commissioner Huseman, seconded by Commissioner Madera, that the resolution be approved.
