Approval of Minutes Min 24-027 Veterans' Commission Meeting Minutes 20231219 Attachments: VC Minutes 20231219 A motion was made by Council Member Craig Kim, seconded by Commissioner Scott Hefty, to approve the minutes of December 19th as amended . VOTE: 5- Aye 3. Public Comment - Juan Lopez said he hopes to be interviewed to come back onto the board 4. Retreat Debrief/2024 Work Plan At the retreat it was brought up about possibly changing the meeting dates so we have better attendance Eloy Espinoza made a motion to move the meetings to the third Thursday of the month at 6:00 PM starting an April.18th Seconded by Scott Hefty approved – Vote was 5-0 Commerce City Page 1 Veterans Commission Meeting Minutes - Final March 19, 2024 discussed setting up a veterans appreciation dinner, Jordan Roberts said he would attend the April meeting to help us set this up Discussed attending the county Veteran’s commission meeting to discuss us working together. 5. Other Business/Open Forum Talked about the Memorial Day Parade committee asking If veterans wanted to be a judge again for the parade. 6.
