Call To Order/Roll Call Present: Kyle Pham, Diana Munoz, Stephani Struwe, Rene Bullock, Mike Kelley, Councilwoman Frank, Jasnoor Kaur, Carlos Rojas, Jesus Vidana, Morgan Smith, Isabela Velasco-Zubia, Jose Rodriguez, Absent: Brianna Talmadge, Jahaira Bueno-Rodriguez, Councilman Guardiola 2. Challenge Question What would be a priority that City Council should take to the state and federal legislature. 3. Approval of Minutes Minutes 11/07/2019 Attachments: Minutes Motion to approve with the correction of Commissioner Struwe's name by Commissioner Struwe. Motion seconded Pham. Motion was unanimously approved. 4. Regular Business Service Day Project Ideas -Adopt a Street -Habitat for Humanity -Soup Kitchens Members voted to Adpot a Street. Staff will help set that up for 2020. 5. Other January 2, 2020 meeting has been cancelled. NLC in Washington D.C. is coming up in March. Based on criteria selected at the last annual planning meeting, those with the most attendance points and that write an essay can be selected to go. Staff asked commissioners if they've been to NLC-Washington D.C. before should they go again? Commissioners agreed that if they've been selected to go in the past, they are willing to let somebody new go instead. Essay must be submitted to staff by 1/06/2020 Elections Commissioners held an election for the officer posisition of secretary. Commissioner Pham nominated self. No other commissioners were nominated. Commissioner Bullock motioned to vote Pham as secretary. Commissioner Pham seconded. Motion passed unanimously. 6.
