Call To Order/Roll Call - 6:30 PM Commissioner Serriana Safieh called the meeting to order at 6:35 p.m. Present 14 - Commissioner Desiree Kennison, Councilmember Douglas, Commissioner Megan Pham, Commissioner Travis Watkins, Councilmember Craig Kim, Commissioner Elizabeth Martinez-Atayde, Commissioner Manuel Guardiola-Rodriguez, Commissioner Alejandra Guardiola, Commissioner Serrianna Safieh, Commissioner Adam Day, Commissioner Christopher Suazo, Commisioner Anna Saia, Commissioner Robert Grandinetti, Commissioner Maria Marentes Absent 7 - Commissioner Cobe Koonce, Commissioner Aliyah Acevedo, Commissioner Olivia Cordero, Commissioner Paia Martinez, Commissioner Eduardo Quintana, Commissioner April Acevedo, Commissioner Christina Wickersheim 2. Guest Speaker - Evelynn Guzman de Leon, Clerk and Recorder Engagement Administrator Evelynn Guzman de Leon, Clerk and Recorder Engagement Administrator – Talked about opportunities for the youth to work at the polls. 3. Public Comment None 4. Approval of Minutes Commissioner Desaire made a motion to approve the minutes. Commissioner Adam Day seconded the motion which was approved unanimously. Min 24-054 Minutes of Mar. 7, 2024 Meeting Attachments: 3-7-24 Draft Minutes 5. Unfinished Business Approval of the Qualtrics Survey for KSA Conference. Commissioner Megan Pham made a motion to approve the Qualtrics Survey. Commissioner Alejandra Guardiola seconded the motion which was approved unanimously. Commissioner Manuel Guardiola made a motion to approve to cancel June 6th meeting. Commissioner Desaire Kennison seconded the motion to cancel June 6th B. May 16th – Move End of the Year celebration to May 2nd the whole commission meeting. We will send them an email to ask again about who is interested Memorial Day parade. We will bring this to the May meeting. Commissioner Elizabeth Martinez-Atayde made a motion to approve. Commissioner Christopher Suazo seconded the motion. C. Sub-committee will continue to meet once a month through the summer. We have more volunteers to join the sub-committee. D. Participate in Memorial Day parade If yes: Create float decorating Committee and trailer? 7. Other Business/Updates A. KSA meeting Scheduled for October 22nd. No school on 18th. B. NLC Tampa Registration is done. 8.
